Help the Homeless this Christmas - Bamboo to Match up to $10,000 raised

Help celebrate the true meaning of Christmas by sharing a gift with those who are less fortunate. This year, Bamboo Realty is partnering with the SoupMobile in Dallas to help feed the homeless and offer them a wonderful Christmas.

The SoupMoble is a Dallas based non-profit organization with the mission of "Feed My Sheep". They have a mobile soup kitchen where they travel to the areas of Dallas where there are the greatest needs. Earlier this year Rebekah and I had the pleasure of meeting the founder David "The Soupman" and spend the lunchour dishing out spaghetti. You can read about it here:

From that moment we forged a relationship with the SoupMobile and have Bamboo agents that regularlly volunteer on Wednesdays. We also have three ladies Rebekah, Lana and Christine that are members of the awesome Souper 100, a group of women that meet monthly and are dedicated to helping solve homeless issues creatively.

SoupMobile also hosts an Annual Christmas Event called "Celebrate Jesus" where they take 500 homeless men and women off the streets of Dallas and put them up at the fabulous Dallas Omni Hotel on Christmas Eve. These men and women will attend a Christmas Eve banquet in their honor and have a "room at the Inn" so they do not have to wak up alone and on the streets Christmas morning.

How awesome is that?

So we want to give big this year and Bamboo has comitted a matching grant this Christmas. For every dollar donated to SoupMobile between now and December 15th, Bamboo will match the donation, up to $10,000.

You can donate online here:

If you prefer to donate by check there is information on theit site as well. For more information about the SoupMobile and the Bamboo grant, please reach out to Director Lon Ricker at

Merry Christmas!!
